After his training at Fort Smith, Daddy returned home to Salisbury, PA, to make my Mother (Vivian Arlene Grove) a "war bride". They were married at Potomac Park in Cumberland, MD, and spent their honeymoon together on the train that took Daddy to California for medic training before he was later assigned to the 162nd General Hospital, which was located near Lincolnshire (outside of London). This is their wedding picture.
